As your writing partner, I believe the most powerful books emerge from genuine collaboration. While some ghostwriters prefer to work in isolation, I thrive on the energy and insights that come from working closely with wisdom-keepers like you.
How It Works
We'll start with a complimentary discovery call where we'll explore your vision and ensure we're a good fit for each other. Then, we'll dive into a three-phase process designed to bring your book to life:
Phase 1: Strategy & Planning
First, we'll develop a comprehensive foundation for your book through:
Creating a detailed avatar of your ideal reader
Analyzing the market landscape and identifying your unique position
Exploring publishing paths aligned with your goals
Developing a strategic marketing approach
Crafting a chapter-by-chapter outline that captures your vision
Phase 2: Writing!!
In this phase, we will meet for 60 to 90 minute interviews for each chapter. We can meet as often as once each week, or we can pace it out depending on your availability.
I will then conduct up to two hours of research per chapter and transform your spoken wisdom into engaging content for your book, maintaining your authentic voice throughout.
Phase 3: Polishing & Preparing for Publication
As your manuscript takes its final shape, I will incorporate your feedback to refine and strengthen the content. Once the manuscript is complete, I will connect you with editors I trust to polish it up and guide you toward your chosen publishing path.
Investment & Timeline
Every book is unique, but here's what you can typically expect:
Base rate: $3,000 per book project (includes extensive planning process)
Per chapter rate: $3,000 (includes two hours of interviewing and two hours of research)
Typical chapter length: 3,000-5,000 words (10-15 printed pages)
A chapter draft is usually completed in one to two weeks
The final investment and timeline will depend on factors like your availability, the amount of existing content you have, and the depth of research required.

What's big-picture editing?
It's something different from the type of editing most first-time authors are more familiar with. Line editing, one of the last steps before publication, is like taking your book to the spa for a day. You get your manuscript back from the editor so fresh and shiny!
But sometimes your almost-finished book needs a little more TLC.
You need an editor who will understand your larger vision for your book and help you bring out its full potential.
That's where big-picture editing comes in!

If you're still in the planning or early writing stages, I can help you:
Create a powerful structure that makes your message clear and compelling
Design a chapter flow that guides readers naturally through your ideas
Identify gaps in your content and opportunities to deepen your impact
Ensure every element of your book serves your core purpose
If you've finished your first draft but something's not quite clicking, I will:
Evaluate your manuscript's strengths and areas for improvement
Recommend structural changes to enhance reader engagement
Identify where your message could be stronger or clearer
Provide a detailed roadmap for revision
First, I'll meet with you to understand your goals and your vision for the three levels of impact you want your book to have --on your readers, your business, and you personally.
Then I'll read your entire manuscript (or your outline and sample chapters if you're still writing).
An additional meeting may be needed if I have clarifying questions before preparing my edits and recommendations.
You'll receive:
A comprehensive evaluation of your book's structure and flow
Specific recommendations for strengthening your manuscript
A sample edit of 2-5 pages showing how the recommendations would work in practice
If needed, a new structural outline for your book
My reading fee is $3 per page. This includes the evaluation, recommendations, sample edit, and quote for full editing services.
The investment for a full edit will depend on the scope of what's needed. Most developmental edits range from $3K to $8K.
